Olivier Garel
M&A professional, Olivier has led a large number of transformative acquisition and divestment transactions for Unilever in different parts of the world. Over the last 20 years in Unilever, he has held senior positions in finance, strategy and business development. Olivier leads Unilever Ventures Investment Committee and manages relationships with a number of Corporate and Venture Capital funds and Private Equity funds around the world. He is currently a Board Director of Iluminage Beauty, Yummly, REN and ioma.
Jean-Philippe Barade
Mr. Barade began his career in 1997 at Credit Suisse First Boston as an Analyst in Paris and then Associate in New York in investment banking within the M&A Group. In 1999, Mr. Barade joined Permira and was subsequently promoted to Principal in the Consumer Team where he focused on investments in consumer, retail and leisure across Europe as well as in France across all sectors. In that capacity, Mr. Barade worked on many acquisitions and exits such as Cognis, Birds Eye iglo, Britvic, Holmes Place. In 2008, Mr. Barade joined Morgan Stanley Private Equity, a global private equity fund sponsored by Morgan Stanley, initially as an Executive Director and then as Managing Director and Partner as well as Member of the Investment Committee for Morgan Stanley Capital Partners V. In 2013, Mr. Barade co-founded B&B Investment Partners as a new private equity fund sponsored by Walgreens Boots Alliance to make acquisitions in health and wellness, beauty and consumer healthcare.
Mr. Barade brings 17 years of private equity experience in leading firms with a focus on the consumer and retail sectors across Europe.
Mr. Barade holds a MBA from ESSEC Business School, Paris.
Colin Welch
Colin Welch is a Partner and Managing Director at TSG Consumer Partners, a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on the branded consumer sector. At TSG, Mr. Welch is responsible for generating new investment opportunities and diligencing new business opportunities, structuring transactions and working with the firm’s partner companies. Mr. Welch has more than 25 years of experience identifying attractive investment opportunities and advising companies in the consumer and retail sectors, both domestically and internationally.
Camille Kriebitzsch
Camille joined the consumer team in 2015 as an Associate. She started working as a business developer for Birchbox and Alexandalexa, two pioneer startups in the beauty and childrenswear sectors. She also worked at Ernst&Young where she was mostly focused on the LVMH account. Camille graduated from ESCP Europe and studied in France, the UK and Germany.
Barbara Donoghue
Ms. Barbara Donoghue is an Advisor to Manzanita Capital. Ms. Donoghue is an expert in media. Ms. Donoghue served as the Managing Director of NatWest Markets and Hawkpoint Partners. She had a career in international investment banking at senior executive level. Ms. Donoghue has been a Director of Eniro AB since 2003. She served as a Director of Noventus Partners. Ms. Donoghue is a Panel Member of the UK Competition Commission. She was a Member of Independent Television Commission. Ms. Donoghue was a Teaching Fellow at London Business School in the areas of strategic and international management. She is a Development Agency Scholar and holds an M.B.A. and a B.Com. from McGill University, Canada.
Daniel Stern
Dan has over 15 years experience in the consumer sector working with entrepreneurs and management teams to help them build the leading brands in their sectors. He leads on Piper’s deals in the hospitality and beauty sectors. He has led on the sale of Loungers and Justin Craig and investments into Flat Iron, Monica Vinader and Hickory’s Smokehouse.
He started his career in consulting at Deloitte before moving into corporate finance at Dresdner Kleinwort. He joined Piper in September 2013 after four years in the consumer team at 3i, where he worked on the acquisition of GO Outdoors and the sale of Giraffe restaurants.
Constantin Rojahn
Constantin joined BlueGem Capital Partners as an Investment Manager in 2017.
He is involved in deal sourcing and deal execution across Europe and is on the Board of QMS Medicosmetics.
Prior to joining BlueGem, Constantin spent nearly four years at TA Associates, with a focus on investments in the consumer sector across Europe. Constantin started his career in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs in London.
Constantin holds a BA in Economics & Management from Bocconi University in Milan.
Matthew Wiseman
Matthew is a key member of our Consumer sector team in the UK and within our international partnership. He works closely with business owners and management teams in the personal care and beauty sectors, as well as supporting financial sponsors, whether that be the generation of off-market opportunities, buy-side advice or maximising value in sales processes.
Recent deals include advising Piper on its investment in Neom Organics.
As the co-founder of a specialist M&A advisor, Matthew has advised many multi-national and private owners of household, personal care and beauty assets globally, including the sales of market-leading brands including Bulldog, REN Skincare, Batiste Dry Shampoo and Liz Earle.
Matthew held positions at PwC and Close Brothers Corporate Finance, where his focus was on the consumer products, travel, food and pubs sectors advising privately owned businesses, mid-market private equity and major public companies divesting non-core divisions.
Matthew graduated with a degree in law from King’s College, London before qualifying as a chartered accountant with PwC.
He has a wife and two young children who keep him busy outside of work, fitting in training when possible to maintain the last memories of sporting prowess.

Trinny Woodall
Trinny Woodall, founder and CEO of the disruptive beauty brand Trinny London, has had a successful twenty-year career in the media. She established herself as a fashion advisor, initially as a columnist for The Daily Telegraph, and later as a co-host for What Not to Wear and The Trinny and Susannah makeover shows, filmed across 20 countries. Now nearly three years old, Trinny London has won countless beauty awards and is sold online in over 65 countries. It was recently listed as one of the fastest growing businesses in Britain.

Tom Allsworth
Fulfilling an ambition and desire to run his own business, Tom founded Medichem in 1992. Medichem initially manufactured chemicals for the medical sector, it then successfully expanded into contract manufacturing for the hair, body and skin care market. In 2013 Tom launched a make-up and colour cosmetics business with Adam Minto, TAM Beauty (now Revolution Beauty). Tom also owns a property investment and development company. Tom enjoys golf, swimming, red wine, dining out and spending as much time as possible at his home in Spain with his family.

Senior Vice-President of Prestige at Unilever, Vasiliki has some 23 years of personal care and beauty experience both in marketing and general management. Prior to her current role at Unilever, she was Vice-President of New Business Development for Personal Care.

Kim Davy-Hoeu
Kim is an enthusiastic Marketing and New Product Development leader with over 14 years of success. She has worked on multiple projects spanning across skincare, bodycare, haircare, colour cosmetics, fragrance, and home fragrance. She built her skills and expertise working with various companies, from niche brands to larger international brands ranging from Rodial and Fornasetti Profumi to Elizabeth Arden and more recently was at Crabtree & Evelyn as their Global Head of Product Innovation and Development. Her strengths lie in translating product concepts, formulas and ideas through a Marketing and R&D perspective. This enables her to innovate and develop new scents, products and texture concepts that appeal to consumers. Particularly focused on devising new formulations and textures linked to fragrance stories, Kim is able to offer invaluable consumer insight.
At the beginning of 2017, she started an exciting new venture offering Strategic Marketing and Product Development consultancy services through her agency KDH Concepts. She is currently involved with a diverse client base, spread across London and New York. She recently spearheaded the development of Scentbird's debut personal care a nd home fragrance collections. In London, she’s also involved on a re-branding project for a dermatological skincare care and the launch of a luxury British home fragrance brand – she recently joined the latter as a Director and Shareholder of the company.
As a leader in her field, Kim has been invited to speak at global industry summits and events such as:

Evan Merali
Adam Minto
Adam has over 30 years’ experience in makeup, beauty, fragrance and gift - in both branded, licensed and own brand development.
With a wealth of experience in designing, developing and manufacturing for some of the biggest brands in the world, and the most exciting indie brand, Adam has worked with top health and beauty retailers around the globe. He has an in-depth knowledge of the beauty industry and understands the market fully to know what sells in both an online and in-store environment.
Specialising in speed and results – Adam has launched over 8 brands in the last 10 years. Most recently, he is known for the 4-year-old brand ‘Revolution’ - available in over 50 countries around the world - and has made headline beauty news with some of his recent launches including Conceal & Define and the Banana Powder. Introducing the Fast Beauty concept to key retailers, this fully encapsulates Adam’s passion for bringing leading beauty trends to market in a shorter timeline than any other brand. Adam is also known for talking to customers and Revolution fans at events and being tagged under his alias ‘Mr. Makeup’ in the social media world by Revoholics.
Adam loves makeup ....but outside of that loves spending time with his amazing and beautiful family, eating and drinking in amazing locations (particularly with Team Revolution members around the world) , running, wearing only black clothes and thinking about more beauty ideas!
Ariel Ohana
Ariel founded Ohana & Co. in 1994. In the more than 20 years since, he has spearheaded the firm’s growth from a Paris based M&A boutique with primarily French clients to a global investment bank advising some of the most prestigious corporations in the world, including Procter & Gamble, VF Corp, Coty, AmorePacific, Mondadori, Omega Pharma and LVMH, as well as private equity funds, business owners and management teams. Ariel has represented clients in Japan, Korea, US, France, Italy and many more countries in the luxury & consumer goods, media & internet, healthcare and energy sectors in over 100 transactions. He currently sits on the board of several companies in France and the US.
Ariel holds a graduate degree from HEC School of Management (Jouy-en-Josas, France), is a CEMS Master graduate (joint degree with ESADE, Barcelona) and holds a graduate degree (DESS) in Business Law and International Tax Law from the Université de Paris. He is still very much involved in the life of HEC: he served as professor of the M&A techniques course for 15 years and is part of the club of largest donors of the HEC Foundation.
