A strong and diverse portfolio of events across multiple industries, including Animal Health, Consumer, Life Sciences and Artificial Intelligence, among others.

Expanding from 4 people at launch in 2015, we are now 50 strong and seeking to add further to our successful team. As the portfolios grow and establish themselves, they will require strong leadership to really shape and develop them fully. Both the AI/Tech portfolio and the Consumer portfolio are now in a position where roles exist to head-up from a commercial perspective.

The role – Commercial Lead – Portfolio

For these roles, Kisaco requires intelligent, ambitious and pro-active sales leaders, who are looking for an opportunity to take ownership of a product and portfolio to deliver both revenue growth and a market leading position.


  • Responsibility for portfolio sponsorship revenue of £1.3m+ across multiple events in 2020
  • Develop deep working relationships with both large corporates and new start-ups in the space
  • Grow revenue from existing accounts, increasing both average spend and frequency of spend across portfolio
  • Develop new business from cold
  • Generate sales revenue and consistently deliver against monthly, quarterly, annual and event targets
  • Articulate key value proposition of our events and illustrate how our platform can deliver maximum impact for clients
  • Attend events to meet with sponsors and ensure successful on-site experience to result in client retention – some international travel required
  • Conduct on-site re-books to secure Y+1 revenue while at Kisaco Research events

Content & Product Development

  • Work actively with the Portfolio Conference Director to influence direction and shape of portfolios, including both events and additional revenue streams such as reports/webinars etc
  • Develop deep understanding of your market-place, to be able to read and comment on trends, cycles, buying patterns etc and be a resource for both your clients and colleagues
  • Contribute to topic generation and validation from a commercial perspective and support Conference Director


  • Align with Kisaco Research internal processes – including sales process (VP, SPIN based selling)
  • Lead by example in reporting, pipelines, admin-based activities, including use and maintenance of Salesforce as a CRM
  • Opportunity to hire and/or develop 1-2 sales reps for the portfolio over the next 12 months
  • Input into marketing campaign to generate leads and opportunities
  • Feed back on market intel and sales pipeline to Commercial Director on a weekly basis
  • Develop strong working relationship with internal stakeholders – marketing, production, operations etc
